The Chartered Institute of Housing is the independent voice for housing and the home of professional standards. Formed in 1916 and for nearly 100 years, work of the CIH is rooted into three main objectives – learn, improve and influence. The CIH provide opportunities for learning and improving and  champion housing to influence the direction of policy
The CIH are a membership organisation with a diverse and growing membership of people who work in both the public and private sectors, in 20 countries on five continents across the world.
